Longest tunnel in Ireland reaches its destination – May 2014

The 4.9km tunnel, (which is 300m longer than Dublin’s Port Tunnel) will be used to connect the previously laid 83km offshore pipeline from the Corrib Field to the Bellanaboy Bridge Gas Processing Terminal.

Corrib wells ready to flow – July 2014

Gas was flared from the Ocean Guardian rig for a 24 hour period confirming the production capacity of the completed ‘P6 well’.  This means that all five Corrib wells required for start-up are now ready to flow.
