Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell), through its affiliate Shell Overseas Holdings Limited, has reached an agreement with CPP Investment Board Europe S.A.R.L. a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board ("CPPIB"), to sell its shares in Shell E&P Ireland Limited, that holds 45% interest in the Corrib gas venture for up to $1.23* billion (€1.08 billion).

Shell Ireland is pleased to announce details of the Irish Language Scholarship Scheme for 2016. Ten scholarships will be provided to attend an Irish language summer course at Coláiste Maigh Eo or Uisce. The scheme is open to students from the four secondary schools in Erris.

The Shell Third Level Scholarship Programme is open for application. There are sixteen scholarships available to Leaving Certificate students from Coláiste Chomain, Ros Dumhan, Our Lady’s Secondary School, Belmullet, St. Brendan’s Secondary College, Belmullet and St. Patrick’s College, Lacken Cross.
