Gas Partners deplore the aggressive and intimidating behaviour of Shell to Sea activists who trespassed on the Bellanaboy site today.

Today's illegal trespass of the Bellanaboy Gas Terminal by approximately 100 Shell to Sea protestors was not peaceful. The protestors vandalised tools and equipment on the site and subjected construction workers to extreme verbal abuse and personal intimidation. It was a very threatening and regrettable experience for the workers involved.

This again shows that the Shell to Sea rhetoric about peaceful protests is simply untrue. Their attempts to describe today's  event as a "peaceful  carnival non-confrontational march" have again been shown to be completely at variance with the behaviour of protestors, many from outside the area, who entered the Bellanaboy terminal site.
