19/07/2010   Shell reaches agreement with Erris Fishermen

Shell E&P Ireland Limited (SEPIL) and the two fishermen’s representative groups in Erris, the Erris Inshore Fishermen’s Association (EIFA) and the Erris Lobster Conservation and Restocking Association (ELCRA), have reached agreement in relation to the facilitation of SEPIL’s offshore works programme for the Corrib gas project in 2010 and 2011.

SEPIL has today responded positively to An Bord Pleanála’s request to re-route the onshore pipeline through Sruwaddacon Bay.

01/02/2010   Erris scholarship scheme to continue for further three years

The successful Erris Third-Level Scholarship Programme, sponsored by the Corrib Gas Partners, is to continue for a further three-year period.

11/06/2009   Incident in Broadhaven Bay this morning

Shell E&P Ireland Limited emphatically rejects the allegation that people employed on the Corrib Gas project were involved in any way in the incident, which led to the sinking of the Iona Isle fishing vessel in Broadhaven Bay early this morning.
